When asked what she liked the most, my daughter Kaya said, "I like the night one because it relaxes you very, very much! The tummy breathing relaxed me the most. The CDs come with an illustrated poster that my daughter loved to refer to as we practiced. It was a joy to hear her repeat the positive affirmations offered in both CDs. I have been practicing yoga with children for 10 years and I am always surprised and saddened by the fact that stating positive affirmations can be extremely difficult for many children. They can say good things about others but find it difficult to express love for themselves. Once children feel comfortable, safe and confident they begin to shine.
