High Hopes
THE RESIDENT MOUSE FAMILY ON OUR PATIO LIKES THESE. HOPE THEY DO THE JOB. WE ARE ANTI-POISON.
We have a little hole in our patio that mice keep moving into. Stuffing with steel wool hasn't stopped them, and neither has anti-mouse calking. We don't like to kill anything, so we bought these. We haven't been using them long enough to know whether they really will prevent new births, but we can report that mice really like them. We placed two of them in on of our long tube mouse traps (so the dog can't get to the bait), held the door of that tube open with a bungee cord, and put it by the hole. Within two hours, both 'sausages' were gone. A few days later, we repeated the process. Same result. This second serving was met with a bit more discretion, as the mice tore open the casings and just ate the insides, but that works, too. We'll know in a few weeks whether or not they prevent
