Ameriwood Home Dakota - Escritorio en L con estanterías, Roble Negro

Ok, where do i begin, lol....So POSITIVES are it's a good looking desk for 80 bucks, so much surface room. I made it even cooler by putting a framed print in the front indented space. It's in my art studio so i wanted to give it some character. As you can see I also got a fancy(cheapish $160) black chair to match. If i showed you what I was using before this as a desk and chair you'd laugh and then feel sad. Anyway i digress, more positives are it's sturdy on my carpeted floor. I'm not a big person so sitting height feels good to me and my chair at it's lowest slides right under no problem. I like that i have a heavy Subwoofer sitting on foam on top and the weight is not an issue. I wanna say before I get into the negs, that I do like this desk and after a couple adjustments/additions, I …

This is the 4th piece of Ameriwood furniture I've purchased. Let me help you make an informed decision when considering this item.First, let's be realistic. Ameriwood furniture is NOT real wood. It is particle board with a laminate film glued to the outer surfaces to appear like wood. So, if you're looking for a QUALITY piece, (obviously at a price point of only @ $100), this is not it.So, why then consider Ameriwood pieces? If you are in the market for an inexpensive piece of furniture to fill a space or provide practical function, then I highly recommend this brand. Because, though it is particle board, once assembled, they look surprisingly nice. In fact, at first glance no one would know it was just particle board. So, for a small, at-home office, this piece is perfect! But what I love

Saw a lot of reviews that were both praising this desk, and giving it low marks. I figured, you get what you pay for, and was expecting nothing special. The desk arrived fairly quickly, seemed to have been lost in transit at one point, but it arrived, and was packaged flawlessly- top marks for that. Assembly was very simple, you get these special screws that stick out, and you basically slip them into the holes and lock them in with a special lock tight screw that they have. all in all this made for a very simple assembly, and will make for an extremely easy take down, as all you need to do is unlock the and slip them apart again (there are four places where you will need to unscrew, but that's no biggie). There were no scrapes or scratches other than the ones I added with my carelessness

I give this desk 5 stars because it does what it was meant to do as long as it is put together properly and not moved. Now I will also say you get what you pay for, this is a great desk for the price but it isn't made out of the most expensive material, for the price I hope no one would think it was lol. Also if you are planning on moving I would not suggest this desk for you. It is press board, I had my 1st one for about 9 months before I moved and I took it partially apart to do so. I was able to put it back together but it was wobbly after I did and then I decided I wanted to scoot it about 3 feet over in the room it was in and it collapsed when I tried to. That being said being on a budget I did order the same thing again, I don't plan on moving now and it does what I need it to do …

I ordered 2 of these desks, due to the great price I was able to get these for! I was a little skeptic about them after reading some of the bad reviews, but I'm quite happy that my experience wasn't bad!I live in a border town in Canada, and to buy these desks would have been a little over $250, with 3 weeks shipping. Snagged these desks for $69 each, and even after paying the sales tax and duty and the border, I still came out ahead with only 2 days of shipping! We made sure to inbox them carefully, and inspect every inch of the wood for pre existing cracks in the wood itself. Besides a few cosmetic scratches and a few scratched ends, the desks arrived in near perfect condition. 5/5 for shipping!Assembly was a little confusing. But taking your time and making sure you're using the right …

Short and sweet: You're definitely getting the bang for your buck here. It offers a lot of workspace while taking up a small area of your home, and while it has no keyboard tray or drawers, there's still plenty of leg room all around to add those yourself (or move a short end table underneath). It's sturdy*, not easy to scratch**, and very easy to install... if you get the instructions. If you do order one: right after you place the order, contact the Ameriwood company on their website about needing instructions for it. They'll send an email to you within 1-3 days, depending on when you ask. Be sure to check your spam mail, as they only send the instructions, and there is no body to their email. Since not including assembly instructions is a common problem, I'll probably post them …

I wanted to wait to write my review until I had a chance to really put the desk to use and not just out of the box. I've had the desk for 3 months now. Here's my thoughts:1.) The desk was time consuming to put together. Right out of the box we noticed a big scratch going across one of the pieces of wood. It wasn't a big deal, the area where it was scratched could be hidden. So we put the desk together only to discover that there was a screw cover missing. Again, not a big deal because it could be hidden, but when you purchase something, no matter how big or small, you expect ALL the parts to be included... Or at least I do. Also, the bottom shelf falls off the tabs in the back anytime the desk is scooted or moved. Not a big deal because I finally found the place I want the desk to be, but
